Sticking with the alcoholic beverage theme, we’re delving into the archives this week to look at another iconic piece of work from Jon Rogers in the form of this 2002 poster campaign from Boddingtons. Much like previous Boddingtons campaigns, these posters were inspired by the home of the brewery – Manchester. Iconic sites from around the city were reimagined as golden pints of Boddingtons, sticking to the familiar colour palette of yellow and black.
Jon worked with BBH on the designs and they were eventually plastered on taxis all over Manchester, later winning Silver in the Campaign Poster Advertising Awards “Best Use of Taxis” in 2003.
