Laura Redburn and Fritha of Tigerlilly Quinn have been “blog friends” for years – in fact Laura says Fritha’s was one of the first blogs she ever read! They’ve worked together a number of times, so when Laura suggested the idea of creating a free printable/desktop/phone background for Fritha’s popular newsletter it seemed like the perfect match. The artwork serves as a nice little perk for subscribers to enjoy and a provided Laura with a good excuse to practice her lettering and typography skills.
Here are some examples of the gorgeous artwork Laura has created for the latest newsletter – if you like what you see we recommend you sign up for Fritha’s monthly emails with freebies from Laura.
While we’re on the subject, Laura has recently revamped her own newsletter, which she sends out under her business name Cardboard Cities. It’s a round-up of content from her popular blog, with elements of illustration, lifestyle and Laura’s fave things found online. The newsletter goes out on the first Sunday of the month, sign up here.
