Jon Rogers, one of our artists since our Ian Fleming and Partners days in Soho and a Partner in Phosphor Art, has won many an award in his illustrious illustration career.
One of the most feted campaigns he illustrated was for Guinness Extra Cold commissioned by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO. Jon’s minimalistic images re-imagined a desk fan, fridge-freezer, fire bucket, nipple, lolly and an iceberg as the Irish drink. The campaign won the Cannes Lions Press Silver, The Augustus Martin Award for Best Use of Illustration at the Campaign Poster Advertising Awards, Silver at Clio and a D&AD Yellow Pencil in 2000. The work was revived recently in response to the heatwave (the last time we’ll mention that!), when the iconic fan was animated and featured on the Guinness website.
We have an archival quality giclée print of Iceberg signed by Jon to give away in our first Phirst Out of the Hat Draw. It is a unique artist’s proof, the only one in existence.
