A highly original illustrator, Mandy gained a first class honours degree in illustration at the acclaimed Falmouth College of Arts to add to her National Diploma in Art and Design from Leeds achieved some time ago in 1986.

In the intervening years, she painted pub signs for major breweries and illustrated. Her work has been published by, among others, Oxford University Press, Usbourne Publishing, Walker Books, Heinemann Publishing, Hallmark, Emap, and WH Smith. She has also worked on character development for Tesco and the Ant campaign for the Post Office through Lowe advertising.

She has also managed to combine the two great passions in her life, art and horses, as an accomplished painter of equine subjects. She has been commissioned to paint a runner in the Grand National, and for several years featured in the Exhibition of Equestrian Art associated with the St. Leger race meeting.

She has exhibited with Terry Frost R.A. in Falmouth, and lives and works in that beautiful part of the country, Cornwall.
