Bob Wilson

Bob Wilson was born in Rothbury in Northumberland. He studied Graphic Design at Newcastle College of Art. After moving south he began his career as an Art Director in a large London agency and won many awards including a Silver and a Gold at D&AD.

After a long and successful period in advertising he left the business to concentrate solely on illustration and cartooning.

He has worked as a cartoonist for many magazines, most notably for Punch and the Oldie. His work has featured in major advertising campaigns over the years including clients such as Heineken, IBM, ICI, Sony, British Airways, American Airlines, Coca Cola, Barclays, VW, Ford, Cadburys, EMI, PG Tips and Kodak to name but a few.
